breakfast club

late start days in high school enabled most teenagers to sleep in and hit the snooze button. being the (not-so) cool group of us in high school, we saw this as an opportunity to hang out and eat breakfast before 7am on a school day.



we'd meet over at haley's house.
we'd make breakfast together.
we'd all go for a run or a bike ride.*




we really wanted to call ourselves the breakfast club. there were more friends in the breakfast club, but some didn't make the cut to fit the profile type for the movie poster. happy birthday kimmy.

*and by bike ride, i mean, we'd take our younger siblings razor scooters, joint friend tandem bike, roller blades, and trot around the neighborhood at an obnoxious hour on late start mornings each week.

we did this for our dear friend allison's 17th birthday. i guess all of those hours spent tinkering away on indesign & photoshop in the journalism lab really paid off.

if there was any doubt that i was/wasn't cool in high school, this might (not) clear things up.
