filson has been up to some great things lately. and by great things, i mean since they were birthed and have been supplying hunters* and outdoorsmen with legit supplies.  filson has also done some rad collaborations.

i've never been one to wear a pair of skate shoes or plimsols, particularly in obnoxious colors**. however, after seeing what filson did with vans. i might be more inclined to snag a pair. don't get me wrong i love a good obnoxious color and vans for sure provides that fix for some, but somedays, rather seasons, i prefer neutrals and natural tones.

* i don't actually know this from experience, but it sounded genuine when i rattled that sentence off. im sure my dad had a filson bag when he reluctantly took the reluctant me hunting. i usually sat on the tailgate of the truck, made sure the cooler was stocked full of beer at all times and colored with the coloring books.
**i just really don't like chunky white soles. or generally anything that requires upkeep. anything that isn't a white oxford that sits below my waist requires that i wash it/clean it/maintain it.
